Friday Favorites with Frantic Mama

I've excited to link with Frantic Mama's Five Friday Favorites (I love me some good alliteration)! Take a peek below to what I have been loving (click on the pictures to see prices):

1. Water Infusers
I don't drink water.  I drink things that are mixed into water, and over time I realize it's not the best decision I make.  So when I found one of these at TJ Maxx, I was super interested.  I've tried it with raspberries and lemons/limes. Y-U-M! It definitely makes me drink more water than I have been!

2. Anastasia Dipbrow

If you have read my blog post about makeup kits for mommies, I wrote about how I use this on a regular basis.  This past week I've hit the gym more often and sweat more than I'd like to admit, and when I get home at the end of the day, my eyebrows are still there!

3. Towel Wrapping
Please note, this is NOT my arm... with a hairy armpit lol.  However, if you read my post yesterday, I had an injury in college which caused a longer term injury called "Cubital Tunnel Syndrome" which causes severe pain in my elbow to my fingertips.  To help out, and keep my arm straight while I am sleeping, the Orthopedic Surgeon told me to sleep with a towel taped around my arm.  It is so heavy and annoying, but it helps SO much.  I'm almost positive this would be on Hubs top 5 fave things too, especially when I accidentally hit him with it in the night!

4. Humidifier
My cousin originally gave this to baby J when we had his baby shower.  It's super cool and it has a spout that splits and can go into two directions.  We loved it so much I got one for our room too.  When the weather changes, it's super annoying that our room gets so dry and it killllls my throat.  This baby has been used so much the past couple days.

5. Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover

Because I rarely go out of the house without mascara on, I need something that is going to get it off successfully.  When I teach fitness classes or if I am going to be working out, I tend to wear waterproof stuff on my eyes, and nothing annoys me more than when I wash my makeup off only to find half of it still all over my face/eyes. Ahhhhh, this stuff works and is amazeballs because it doesn't give you that greasy feeling or makes your eyes all cloudy like some waterproof makeup removers do.

What are you loving this week?  How 'bout giveaways?  You like giveaways?  Have you entered mine?  The Makeup Forever Aqua Shadow Duo One?  Then you can pick up some Oil Free Makeup Remover, cuz those suckers stick around!

Friday Favorites with Frantic Mama -- Bebe Edition

I've excited to link with Frantic Mama's Five Friday Favorites (I love me some good alliteration)! If you have followed my blog lately, we have had a pretty sick household and fortunately, myself and Hubs have gotten just about back to normal, but baby J has had a little more battle to fight with this stomach bug.  So because of that, this Friday Favorites will be Baby J based! Also, you can click on some of the links for the products to check Amazon for prices!

1. Little Tikes Easy Score Basketball Set
This little gem was given to us by a family member and Jackson plays and plays and plays.  Not even with just basketballs... baseballs, tennis balls, blocks, food, his penguin.  If this kiddo doesn't grow up loving basketball, families will be devastated.

2. Naked Juices
Since Jackson has been sick lately, our doctor told us to keep his diet modified, and no milk! What?  Little man loves his milk... so sad.  And I wasn't too keen on giving him just juice all the time (no matter how watered down).  He's had these before, but they have become a staple in our house since he's been sick.  We mainly buy the "Green Machine" one.  It has all fruits and veggies and no added sugar.  With things like broccoli and spinach in there, I'm ok letting him have this "treat".

3. DK Publishing Wheelie Board Books

Okay, so baby J has a few of these books and we always have one in our diaper bag and he LOVES them.  They have wheels on the outside of the book and spin and spin.  He loves looking inside the books and pantomiming what the trucks do.  They are not only used as books, he uses them as a toy too and pushes them across the floor.

4. Step 2 Water Wheel Water Table
I love this thing just as much as baby J.  We use it so much and not just for water; snow, leaves, peanuts, pasta... you name it, we tried it.

5. TY Pluffies Waddles

If you've read my blog in the past, you've read me talk about his little Penguin.  We named him Gino the Penguino, but he's really a TY and already had a name.  He got it his first Christmas, and hasn't left his side since (minus those one or two "omgoodness, where's Gino, moments").  He even has us wrap him like a baby to snuggle and love!

Do you have a little one who loves things?  What are some things you are loving? -TPD

Friday Favorites with Frantic Mama

I've excited to link with Frantic Mama's Five Friday Favorites (I love me some good alliteration)! Check out what I'm loving this week:

1. J Lab Go Bluetooth Wireless Headphones with Perfect Fit
(Click for more info)
When I go to the gym, I have to listen to music.  I have to.  Back in the day, I used to use wired ones that I attached to my iPod, which I attached to my shorts.  I used to hit the cord and send my iPod flying across the room on a regular basis or worse, an incident which included my iPod, a treadmill and an innocent bystander...  anywayyy.  These are perfect for me because I can safely tuck my iPod away and not worry about cords.  And the "perfect fit", it's for realz.

2. Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Do I even need an explanation for this?  Hilariously funny and he's biffles with Justin Timberlake.

3. McDonald's Shamrock Shake

I recently tried this and I was like... for real?  Why have I missed out on you? Minty fresh... ice cream... whipped cream and a cherry?  I am not even embarrassed to admit that I drank the whole thing in about 5 minutes.

4. 6pm.com

If you have never checked out this site before, do it ASAP!  This is where I buy shoes/sneakers for my family.  I get baby J little Nikes, picked up my new gym shoes (Asics), and Hubs some new Asics for work... all for under $100 shipped!

5. My Zumba Fitness Class

I teach Zumba at a local college twice a week and I usually get around 45-50 girls.  They are amazing, have so much energy and make my workout so much fun.  If you've never tried a Zumba class, I strongly suggest it!

So that's about it.  What have you been loving this week?

***Oh and PS, have you seen my new blog banner?  My mama fixed it all snazzy for me.  She's a redic computer guru and pretty super.  Thanks mama!***
